Breaking Nice Mum News...

Nice Mum is the comedy double act Dave Marks and Kris Dyer who perform regularly at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival, on the London circuit and around the country.

'On The Blog', the radio sitcom that they created, write and appear in, was first transmitted in May 2007 on BBC Radio 2 and marked their performing debut on national radio. A second series is due for transmission, in May 2008.

Between 2002 and 2004 they performed three sell-out runs at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival at the Pleasance, Underbelly & Gilded Balloon venues gaining widespread praise from punters and critics alike. They were called "Brilliantly stupid" The Scotsman and "One of the funniest acts of the Fringe" The Stage. They went on to write sketches, jokes and scripts for national radio, winning commissions to write for, amongst others, Richard Herring and Parsons & Naylor.

2004-06 saw them hosting one of the most popular & enduring live sketch nights on the circuit Nice Mum Etc. featuring the best in new sketch comedy. They are currently developing their live show 'Banged In The Slammer' ("Very random, but very very funny" - Fringe Report) which will return to the stage later this year.
